HERBÁRIO PROF. VASCONCELOS SOBRINHO, PERNAMBUCO (PEUFR)

Abstract

Resumo: O Herbário PEUFR dispõe de um acervo valioso e atualmente contém 52.360 espécimes catalogados, incluindo 34 typus, entre fanerógamos e criptógamos, dos quais 27.514 já foram informatizados. A maior parte da coleção representa o bioma caatinga tendo sido coletada em diferentes feições da vegetação de caatinga e também nos brejos de altitude (florestas montanas). Outra parte expressiva do acervo é a diversidade da flora da zona da mata pernambucana (floresta atlântica e restinga). A coleção de algas também apresenta importantes registros de floras coletadas nas regiões entremarés e de profundidade da costa brasileira, em especial da costa Nordeste, além das floras dos Arquipélagos São Pedro e São Paulo e Fernando de Noronha. 

Abstract: The Herbarium PEUFR have a valuable collection of 52,360 specimens including 34 typus, between Phanerogamae and Cryptogamae, of which 27 514 have already been computerized. Most of the collection is the caatinga biome have been collected at different features of this type of vegetation and in the high wet forests (montane forests). Another significant part of the collection is the diversity of Flora in the forest area of ​​Pernambuco (Atlantic forest and restinga). The collection of algae also has important Floras records collected in the intertidal regions and depth of the Brazilian coast, especially the northeast, besides the flora of the archipelago São Pedro e São Paulo e Fernando de Noronha.
