HERBÁRIO TIRADENTES, SERGIPE (AJU)

Abstract

Resumo: O Herbário Tiradentes (AJU) foi inaugurado em 20 de janeiro de 2014 e está localizado na Universidade Tiradentes (UNIT), cidade de Aracaju. Sua estruturação foi realizada com o intuito de contribuir para a capacitação de alunos na área de Botânica, com ênfase em Coleções e Sistemática, aliada à promoção do conhecimento da diversidade florística do estado de Sergipe. Há menos de 1.000 exemplares registrados, e todos estão informatizados na plataforma BRAHMS. Destacam-se materiais coletados nos Biomas Mata Atlântica, Caatinga e Cerrado. A maioria dos exemplares se refere às angiospermas, mas também podem ser encontrados algas de águas continentais, musgos, hepáticas, samambaias e fungos depositados no acervo do AJU.

Abstract: The Herbarium Tiradentes (AJU) was inaugurated on January 20, 2014 and is located in the Universidade Tiradentes (UNIT), city of Aracaju. Its structure was carried out in order to contribute to the qualification of students in Botany, with emphasis on Collections and Systematic, associated with the promotion of knowledge of the floristic diversity of the state of Sergipe. There are less than 1,000 samples and all of them are computerized in the BRAHMS platform. Materials belonging to the Atlantic Forest, Caatinga and Cerrado Biomes have a highlight in the collection. Most of the samples refers to the angiosperms, but can also be found inland water algae, mosses, liverworts, ferns and fungi deposited in the AJU collection.
