This paper deals with the theme “Construction of Mathematical Logical Reasoning”, concerning children from 6 to 10 years old. It is a research whose approach is qualitative based on the assumptions of Bogdan and Biklen, using the exploratory research and the technique of non-participant observation in the 4th and 5th grade classroom during the Pedagogical Residence Program, analysis which was performed by the duo who writes this scientific work. As an initial part of published studies on logical reasoning and how it helps in the development of mathematical concepts. In this perspective, logical reasoning is taken as the set of ideas thought to reach a certain conclusion or resolution of a problem, according to the assumptions of Piaget (1896), Copi (1978) and Vygostky (1973). The results show that mathematics is a fundamental means for the development of a child's logical thinking until adulthood.
