Quality management with social accountability: a system integration proposal, based on standards ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2008 and SAI SA 8000:2001.

This paper proposes an integrated management system, adding the quality assurance requirements of products and services, based on the ISO 9001:2008 standard for social accountability, supported by SAI SA8000:2001, a voluntary standard which aims to ensure ethical production units around the world, i.e., a single management system to satisfy the needs of customers, organizations and society.
