AbstractThe paper presentsthe study of a method for measurement and classification of characteristics ofhuman language, using Artificial Intelligence techniques, in order to assistthe diagnosis in the field of speech therapy. Furthermore, the model willenable the analysis of patient outcomes through records of measurements andgraphical evaluations. Records and measurements will be made from equipmentthat will capture the remarkable power points on language as parameters ofclinical analysis. An Expert System, which through mathematical models andinformation recorded in databases, the design will allow a helper to interactwith professional health diagnosis will be developed. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Instrumentation, measuring tongue strength,Biometrics.
