Abstract
This work intends to analyze two management tools of Human Resources, the motivation and quality of working life (QWL). Dissatisfaction and demotivation are not restricted to a class of employees and can be reached that with lower qualification or higher position of the company. Many factors are related to employee unmotivated not just limited to low salaries. In 1995 the World Health Organization defined quality of life as the individual's perception of their position in life in the context of culture and value systems in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards and concerns. In our globalized present era we realize that the work is no longer seen as something pleasant and has become a must become a cause of demotivation. Increasingly seeks to immediacy, for who makes long-term planning companies and not the staff, this is due to technological advancement where companies only invest in new machinery to facilitate the work, lower costs to increase profits, but forget to invest in the quality of life and transform the working environment in a place where not only clench keys, buttons or fill out reports on your computer.
