Abstract
The companies operate in an environment characterized by constant changes, making it essential to continued investment in effective implementation of change processes in order to adapt to the new scenarios, not only to compete in its market share, but, for reasons as keep survival in this so globalized and competitive conjuncture. However, can happen some challenges for the successful implementation of the proposed amendments, as resistance to organizational change. In this process, it highlights the importance of clear communication between all involved team and direction through a reliable and credible leadership, focused on the achievement of organizational results. This work has the literature search methodology, which covers some of the numerous theories of renowned authors, and the objective was to acquire much knowledge as possible about the resistance subject to change and how the leader can support to reduce the impact generated by this obstacle.
