Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the influence that a leader can have on a team and identify which positive or negative results are obtained through the way they lead. To investigate whether the leader has the ability to increase the results of an organization and influence practical attitudes. To verify whether there is an ideal profile to be followed in order to achieve success with the team and the organization. For this purpose, bibliographical research was carried out. Throughout the article, it is possible to understand that there are several characteristics that a person must have to be a leader, and knowing the different ways of leading can be a differentiator when working with a team and within an organization. It is concluded that the leader can indeed influence the results of an organization, the leader has a great influence on his/her team and with this he/she can manage people to achieve the result desired by the company. However, it is understood that not just anyone has the characteristics to assume this role within an organization, and it is noteworthy that the company can lose a lot if it chooses a leader based on time worked or collegiality. A person who is a leader within an organization needs to be aware of how their way of acting reflects on a team, therefore, having the perception and knowledge of the work they carry out, the people they work with and the objective that must be achieved becomes very important to carry out this activity successfully.
