Abstract
The advancement of reproductive medicine, with the development of artificial wombs and ectogenesis, offers new possibilities for infertility and parenthood, with alternatives for infertile or vulnerable couples. Ectogenesis allows fetal development outside the human body but faces complex ethical challenges, still experimental, which demand reviews on embryo manipulation and newborn protection. The technology also raises questions about the emotional bond between mother and baby, and whether the artificial environment replicates from natural gestational interactions. In summary, for it to become a viable and accessible alternative, it is essential to contemplate its social implications and the rights of those seeking the alternative, while observing the surrounding world
