Abstract
With the urgent need of planet Earth to preserve the environment using natural products, since the application of renewable resources that do not attack the atmosphere has become a source with great economic potential, being fundamental for the survival of industries in a competitive and globalized market. In this sense, vegetable polyurethanes appear as an alternative of constructive material for Engineering, where the needs to eliminate infiltrations require waterproofing, thus the waterproofing in polyurethane is feasible, impenetrable, high durability and easy adhesion with concrete, wood and other building materials. The vegetal resin besides biodegradable is derived from the biomass, because it is originated from castor oil.
