Abstract

In order to give safety to constructions, limits and standards have been established through norms. Every 5 years, standards are reviewed, but some such as NBR7190 have not been updated. In performing the shear test it was verified that the accessory provided by the aforementioned norm allowed the object of study to have a slip, which interfered with the precision of the result, for which this study suggests the adaptation of the accessory through tests and sizing to assist in a future update of NBR7190.
