Abstract

This study aims to highlight aspects considered relevant with regard to the dental surgeon's civil liability in their usual clinical care. As is well known, the Brazilian legal system, supported mainly by the dictates of the Consumer Protection Code - Law 8.078 / 90, has a protective bias to the part considered the final recipient of products and services, whoever the patient is, so that for an ethical performance , prudent and safe the professional must surround himself with basic care in the legal scope.
