Analysis of the Raman spectroscopy technique applied to monitoring soil contamination by used lubricating oil Pedro Henrique Simões Andrade, Aldo Ramos Santos

Main Article Content

Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of soils contaminated with lubricating oil used by automobiles, whose disposal can cause harm to human health, as well as altering the chemical and biological properties of a soil. The studied substrates were submitted to controlled contamination in the laboratory, analyzed and compared between the gravimetric methods of Landfarming and Raman spectroscopy, with the objective of the study being the feasibility of this technique, which proved to be complex for application in field samples.
