Abstract

This article contextually addresses, in a comparative and synthesized way, the need to reflect on the opposition to scientific evidence, in the face of the modification and slowing down of the approval of the use of pesticides, which were submitted under strict rules (Law 7802/89) and that were recently relaxed. We will briefly analyze the intention of amending the current law, by PL 6299/2002 and the consequences of a new procedure for the approval of pesticides, which reach the Federal Constitution in a safe way, because among the pesticides, there are products capable of exterminating colonies of bees responsible for seed pollination and food crops. Mandatory participation by IBAMA in the approval of products trifloxystrobin, triflumuron, fipronil and the exercise of judicial review.
