Democratic Principle, Environmental Public Policies and Municipal Solid Waste Plans: The case of Cubatão Maria Érica Batista dos Santos

Abstract

The present study aims to determine the applicability of the democratic principle in the construction of public environmental policies from the perspective of municipal solid waste plans, observing the effective popular participation, the application of governance instruments for this purpose and the effective results resulting from such application.
