Abstract

This study aims to present a brief history of medicine and investigate how the doctor-patient relationship has been built and is currently shown, its models and main ills. It is an exploratory research that uses the technique and bibliographic and documentary research, with interpretative and logical-deductive analysis of the selected material. It is concluded that the doctor-patient relationship has assumed an increasingly relevant role in the practice of medicine, and it can be said that it is a key issue to prosper in professional practice.
