Abstract

This study analyzes the challenges faced by trans men in accessing healthcare, highlighting social invisibilities and structural barriers that undermine the effectiveness of public policies. The objective is to identify obstacles and propose pathways for inclusion, acknowledging as a limitation the scarcity of specific epidemiological data on this population. A qualitative methodology was adopted, based on a literature review and comparative analysis of national and international normative frameworks. The guiding research question is: how can structural barriers affecting trans men’s access to healthcare be overcome? The hypothesis is that the absence of specific protocols and insufficient professional training perpetuate stigma and compromise equity in care. The results indicate the persistence of these barriers, underscoring the urgency of inclusive strategies that ensure dignity and comprehensiveness in healthcare provision.
