Abstract

This paper seeks to examine the private health system in the United States in comparison with the Brazilian Unified Health System, in order to highlight the main similarities and differences, as well as to analyze their principles, structures, national policies and goals of health services. Therefore, this paper enters the field of international (comparative) law in order to discuss the perspectives of the two systems, since both States are part of the Community of the Americas, being from the global South and North.
