Abstract


This article presents how changes related to the universe of pedagogy have been addressed, more specifically dealing with issues related to teaching methods from researchers and scholars such as Dewey, Piaget, Vygotsky, Cambi, Fracalanza. But the focus is Science Teaching. Therefore, the objective is to describe how the teaching of Science has been thought. It is important to clarify initially that the discipline of Science was included in the school curriculum in 1971, with the enactment of Law n. 5,692. Therefore, the Teaching of Natural Sciences became mandatory in elementary school, undergoing changes from the law.
