Sandman and Greek Mythology in The song of Orpheus Daniela Domingues Marino

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the Greek influence found in The Song of Orpheus and tries to point out the main differences and similarities between the comics and the original myth. As a treasure hunt game, we try to discover how much of the myth has been used or adapted to the comics and if in any way it harms the law of probability or necessity proposed by Aristotle in his work Poetics, bearing in mind the genealogy of Orpheus in classical texts.
