Abstract

In order to simulate the drawing process, through the resources available by a tensile test machine, forming process simulations of copper wire were performed. Using the tensile test machine of the mechanical tests laboratory at UNISANTA was obtained parameters in order for evaluating the drawing process. The obtained parameters, process efficiency, the material properties and other information were assessed by analytical methods known in the literature.
